 In Schools Rugby action, SACS blew away an outclassed Rondebosch Boys High School. SACS led 36-0 at the interval before running out eventual 48-19 winners.
 Nick Mallett has “agreed in principle” to become the next Italian national coach. “I am seriously considering it. I find the idea of coaching them very attractive,” said the former Springbok coach.

 Tana Umaga oversaw his first training session as General Manager at French Second Division side Toulon on Tuesday. The players had already resumed training in July with the aim of making it back to Division One.
