– Bismarck du Plessis sits out the game due to a 3 week ban. He is replaced in the run-on side by Schalk Brits.
– Adi Jacobs is still suffering from a hamstring injury – Francois Steyn replaces him at outside centre.
– Conrad Jantjes starts at fullback, replacing Percy.
– Pierre Spies starts at number 8 in place of Big Joe who is moving to Toulon and suffers the same fate as BJ Botha.
– Ryan Kankowski warms the bench.
– Adriaan Strauss is installed as backup hooker.
– Peter Grant and The Beast make the bench.
