Cooking Time: ½ hour
Ingredients
1 kg firm fish fillets
30 ml cooking oil
2 medium onions, sliced
125 g mushrooms, sliced
1 carrot, cut into strips
1/2 green pepper, seeded and cut into strips
30 ml soy sauce
15 ml tomato paste
50 ml wine vinegar
15 ml cornflour
125 ml fish stock
Method
Heat oil in potjie, add onion, mushrooms, carrot and green pepper and sauté until onion is transparent.
Arrange fish on top of vegetables.
Mix soy sauce, tomato paste, wine vinegar, cornflour and fish stock together and add to fish.
Cover with lid and simmer slowly for 15 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
