In 2011 Paarl Gymnasium (PG) will host the 19th under 16 rugby national schools tournament. The format has been changed to include hockey and netball – and will be spread over a 5 day period. 26 of the country’s top schools will be participating in the rugby tournament.

Thanks to the incompetence of the UCT EXCO, the final will now be played in Pretoria, with UCT – who finished second on the log – not able to host a home final due to the Groote Schuur floodlights not being good enough for a televised 7pm match.
