It’s the end of an era and a sad day for independent sports reporting. Keo.co.za the original, and for a long time best, rugby discussion blog is no more.

Founder Mark Keohane has finally thrown in the towel and joined his former employees as a staff writer on the SARugbyMag website, owned by Highbury Safika Media.

Only a handful of truly independent rugby websites (Frontrowgrunt, Ruggaworld, Rugby Talk, and of course Ou Grote Rugby) remain.

We know how tough it is out there and salute Keo for surviving this long.

France once again experienced heartbreak at the hands of South Africa in another thriller between the two last weekend and will be determined to bounce back against Fiji. Les Bleus remain one of the world’s most feared sides and are the favourites to win the Six Nations next year and should have no problems getting the win against the Fijians, just as England did last week. Fiji rarely roll over for any side but we think at least a 13-point victory is on the cards for the French.

Ladbrokes: England to beat New Zealand
England face their biggest test of the Autumn series so far as they go head-to-head with New Zealand in the headline game of the weekend. Since losing to Ireland in the first game of last season’s Six Nations in February, England have won all 10 of their games in 2025, seeing off Australia and Fiji in November as they continue to build momentum under Steve Borthwick. The odds actually favour England after New Zealand survived a scare from Scotland last time out and we are going to go along with the bookies with this one.
