The 22-man South African Schools squad was announced on Saturday.The Blue Bulls (6) and Free State (5) have 11 players earning their national colours. The Lions (4), KZN (2), WP (2), SWD (1), Pumas (1) and Boland (1) make up the rest of the squad. The captain of the side is impressive Lions No 8 Ruan Steenkamp.

Rugby legends, amongst others John McGrath, Pieter Rossouw, Toks van der Linde, Balie Swart and Schalk Burger Snr joined Du Toitskloof Wines in support of the Paarl Gimnasium Rugby fundraising event on 10 June.
