Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer has announced three planning camps during the next six weeks as part of his preparations for the upcoming Test series against England in June.

The camps take place on the various franchises’ bye weekends:

16 to 19 April (Joburg) Lions and Cheetahs players
23 to 26 April (Pretoria) Bulls and Sharks players
01 to 03 May (Cape Town) Stormers players

Meyer said: “I’m planning to look quite wide at most of the eligible players from our five Super Rugby squads when I invite players to attend our sessions – including currently injured players. The more players that are aware of how we’d like to play this year, the better for the Springboks’ preparations for a very tough season”
